With your help, we can rebuild, expand, and celebrate music in our schools!

We hope to

• create opportunities for students to play in jazz and chamber music ensembles at beginning and advanced levels;
• partner with local schools of music, such as New England Conservatory, to bring performance groups to the schools and to provide mentoring opportunities;
• fund scholarships for instrument rentals; to repair and purchase instruments for the schools;
• support field trips for local music as well as the High School New York City Heritage Music Festival tradition.

Creating these new opportunities can only come about if teachers are not stretched thin covering basic instruction.
