Doors open at 5:15 pm and performances start promptly at 5:30 pm!
The Instrument “Petting Zoo” kicks off at 5:30 and runs till 6:45, but
music lasts until 9 pm!

Check out the variety of music – folk, jazz, classical, pop, and rock – concurrent solo and group acts on different “stages” and hear …
local favorites Ruth Rappaport and Joe Pete Wetherbee; Tracksuit Pacino; Poet’s Corner; former WPS Strings Director, Dr. Frederik Schuetze; piano, woodwinds, reeds, brass, strings, voice, classical and flamenco guitar … in solos or small ensembles; many popular Watertown Public School teachers; and let us not forget the student jazz & rock bands!

Friends of Watertown Music is also pleased to announce a new School Program Grant for $2938 from the Watertown Community Foundation for full-size violins at Watertown High School.

We will match with $2938 of our own funds, raised through the generosity of our donors
– including all those who have participated in MusicFest over the years –
as performers, audience, and volunteers!

A special thank you to all the performers and guests who made MusicFest 2023 such a resounding success! We raised over $5,000 to support the music programs of the Watertown Public Schools!

It was also great to meet so many friends at the Faire on the Square.
We had five lucky winners from our free t-shirt drawing!

Our line-up features…
Professionals from the community, Watertown Public Schools faculty and parents,
and enthusiastic, young musicians as soloists, duos, trios, and more, playing
folk, classical, and jazz music from around the world!

Watertown’s own Ruth Rappaport and Pete Wetherbee
will close the evening for us!

The Watertown High School Winter Concert will be
Tuesday, December 13^th at 7 pm. All are welcome!

Our next meeting will be Monday, December 12^th, 6-7 pm in the Raya Stern Trustees Room at the Watertown Free Public Library.
We invite all who are interested in supporting music in the schools!

With Watertown Public Schools, we celebrate the return of live music:
