News and Happenings

Fabulous Bandarama on Wednesday!

We heard great music from Liszt to Mingus and plenty in between by 14 ensemble groups representing 4th grade band and 4th grade strings all the way up through the high school full orchestra including, of course, the Middle School Jazz Band funded this year by Friends of Watertown Music!

News and Happenings

Still Glowing…
We hope you enjoyed the 2nd Annual Watertown MusicFest as much as we did! With over 50 solo and ensemble performances on 4 “stages,” it was hard to choose where to go. For nearly four hours, kids and professionals played great music. Take a look at the recent story in the Watertown Tab! So far we have raised at least $3,000 for the schools, and we continue to welcome donations.

A sincere thank you goes out to all who were part of the event. We especially thank Charlie Breitrose of the Watertown Patch for pre-event publicity.

We look forward to seeing you at the 3rd Annual MusicFest next year!

Next school event…
Come hear all the students in the band and strings programs at all levels from Elementary through High School at Bandarama, 7 pm Wednesday March 13, 2013 in the High School Auditorium.
